| Curriculum Vitae |
I am a laboratory medicine resident in the physician
scientist training program at Washington University. I
recently completed my MD/PhD at UC Irvine under the
advisorship of Pierre Baldi.
I design computational infrastructure (hardware, data, and algorithms) that help experimental researchers discover and refine novel medicines. My work included designing and curating an online database, the ChemDB, of millions of chemicals, discovering several algorithms for sifting through these chemicals more rapidly and accurately, and inventing better pattern recognition algorithms to predict a chemical's toxicity and bioactivity. For the moment, I am looking forward to finishing off this last stretch of my clinical and research training at Washington University. Long-term, I plan to continue my work as a tenure-track research professor. |
